Hi, I’m Sim!
Hi there! I’m Sim, the creative force behind the delectable cookies, cakes, and treats at Cococasa Kitchen. Originally from New Delhi, India, I now call New York City home, where I’ve honed my skills and passion for the culinary arts.
In 2010, Cococasa started as a gourmet chocolate company. Despite pursuing a Law degree simultaneously, I dedicated my nights to perfecting chocolates and waking up early for deliveries in New Delhi. However, after completing my degree, I realized my true calling was in the realm of creativity. So, I embarked on a journey to New York City to study cake decorating at the International Culinary Center (now called “ICE”), expanding my knowledge and skills.
Fast forward three years, and I find myself immersed in the exciting world of cookie artistry. With the incredible opportunity to participate in the Christmas Cookie Challenge on Food Network, I’ve grown tremendously as a cookier. Yet, I’m constantly striving to improve with each cookie set I create.
I am immensely grateful to everyone who has been a part of my journey. From baking for the same family’s consecutive birthdays to crafting treats for amazing individuals like Tracee Ellie Ross, Maude Apatow, Obi Toppin, Rachel Dratch, Kathryn Newton, and many more (the list goes on!), I’ve been fortunate to work with remarkable clients. Additionally, Cococasa has had the pleasure of collaborating with renowned brands such as Coach, Clergerie, Westman Atlelier, Comic Con 2022, Fashionphile, and The Mark hotel, to name just a few.
